Sneshell was one of only two known female barber-surgeons who practised during this period. Geldorp’s wife may have been dead by the time of the Return of Strangers in London since Geldorp (‘Giltrope’) is listed with four children but no wife.

She had estates in Flanders, referred to in their son’s will, made 10 September and proved 4 February ; this son, John Baptist Geldorp, Gentleman of the City of Westminster.
